MITSUMATA BRANCHES
The bark from Mitsumata (Edgeworthia papyrifera) has been used for centuries in Japan to make the finest grades of paper, including that used in Japanese bank notes.
Mitsumata branches have a unique angular form and after a few hours of soaking can be easily shaped. These branches have been stripped of their bark and bleached to an ivory white. The matte finish is more natural looking than branches that have been painted.
Two bundles of the 3-4' size shown.
Individual branches of the 2-3' size are generally more spare than those of the 3-4' size, but still look great.
Mitsumata Branches typically ship within one business day.
